Why contracting officers keep our number

Fluent in FAR and DFARS

A deep understanding of federal acquisition regulations, so the clauses are handled before they become a question.

The clauses, read
before we price

Federal purchases run on the Federal Acquisition Regulation, defense purchases on the DFARS supplement, and several agencies add supplements of their own. The clauses incorporated into a solicitation decide what can be supplied, from where, and what has to be documented.

GovCrest reads the solicitation line by line before we price. Country of origin, Buy American and Trade Agreements Act requirements, specialty metals, cybersecurity clauses and agency-specific terms are identified up front and stated on the quote, so compliance is settled before award rather than discovered at acceptance.

The same discipline runs through our bid support and contract management: technical compliance matrices checked against the solicitation, commercial terms confirmed in writing, and conformity evidence on file.
